Developing community-supportive agriculture: first café-debate
Last Thursday, on the 16th of February, we organized a meeting with some consumers from Webkamra and some young farmers to discuss on the way of developing short food supply chains in Tg. Mures. The café-debate took place just after the local market we organize every month in our premises.
Emilie, our new French intern presented us two initiatives she visited in France: an AMAP, association for a community supportive agriculture, and a solidary garden next to Lyon providing weekly baskets to the urban dwellers. It led to an animated discussion on how to develop and implement weekly vegetable baskets in Tg. Mures.
Of course, we will keep on those discussions during the following weeks and you are all welcome to join them!
