Sándor Kálmán, Meresti: He started to make cheese four years ago out of compulsion and now cheese-making means livelihood for the whole family. You may say so that is a three-generation enterprise, because his parents are raising the cows, he and his wife are running the farm and selling the products, while their son is the „cheese master” who gained experience and knowledge of cheese making abroad.
Gecse Alpár, Chibed: For ten years now he’s been an apiarist, keeping more than 100 bee families and selling his products on the local markets.
Pál Kinga, Satu Mare: She’s been making syrup for years from their own fruits. Their primary customers are their friends and family, but they also shipped syrup to Austria where it was a huge success. They also make jams, different type of syrups, teas and dried sage.
