Focus Eco Center > Inclusive Future > Objectives

The Inclusive Future project aims to transform education by integrating sustainability competences into school curricula while promoting inclusion and equity. Through innovative methodologies, policy engagement, and cross-border collaboration, the project empowers educators and students to become active contributors to a greener and more inclusive society.

  • Integrate sustainability competences into primary and secondary education by aligning curricula with the GreenComp framework.
  • Enhance teacher training and preparedness to effectively teach and assess sustainability competences.
  • Promote inclusive and equitable education by ensuring access to sustainability learning for students from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Pilot innovative teaching and learning methods that foster critical thinking and real-world problem-solving.
  • Empower schools as change agents through a Green School Certification Model and sustainable school practices.
  • Strengthen policy alignment and impact by collaborating with policymakers to integrate sustainability competences into education policies.
  • Foster European and international cooperation by building a network of sustainable schools and facilitating knowledge exchange.
