- Organization of campaign promotion event: Sustainable tourism and SDGs – 13.04.2019
The event was organised in Valea with the participation of about 200 people. The participants participate on a practical exercise to experiment the sustainable tourism (walking and biking), on the route between Beu and Valea (about 12 km). After the walk was organized seminar about the sustainable tourism and SDGs. After the seminar was organized a tasting of local food.
- Public debate: How we can have a sustainable life with less waste produced – event at 9th April
One of the biggest problems of our days is the high amount of waste produced. The waste management is not only a technical issue, but is a matter of lifestyle. We can reduce the produced waste by our customer habits and generally by our lifestyle. The campaign “A good life is simple” it promoted by a campaign event organised in cooperation with the public radio and by a regional TV.
On the event participated about 150 people.
- Local products fair 19.10.2019
It was organised in Tg. Mures in cooperation with the Mures County Council a fair/exposition of the local products. In Mures county there are many small farmers and artisans, who produce high value products, but they didn’t have the possibility to put in value their products. This fair was a good occasion to promote their products. During the event was organised a seminar on which, Zoltan Hajdu the project coordinator has a presentation with the title: “The new interdependency between the urban and rural space, new methods for short distribution chains”. On the event were exposed the posters and roll ups of the “Good life is simple campaign”
The event was visited by about 2500 people.
- Sustainable agriculture and rural development conference in Odorheiu Secuiesc – 28.11.2019
The conference was organised with the goal to evaluate the changes of the rural space and the agriculture in Romania in the last years. The Civitas Foundation who was the initiator of the event presented the experience of the foundation in Harghita county. Zoltan Hajdu was the key speaker of the conference, who presented the experiences of the Focus Eco Center, the project “Good life is simple” and the new tendencies at European level concerning the link between the climate protection and rural space/landscape development.
The event was attended by about 40 people.
