The consortium of the European project InclusiveFuture, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, announces the official launch of its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC): “InclusiveFuture: a whole school approach.” The InclusiveFuture project aims to promote social inclusion through education for sustainability, with a particular focus on schools in rural or segregated areas.
At a time when the green transition is a global priority, schools face the challenge of effectively and inclusively integrating sustainability competences into their curricula. This new online course responds directly to that need by providing school leaders, teachers, and educators with the tools required to lead this transformation.
Developed under the coordination of Instituto Superior Técnico (ULisboa), the MOOC is based on the European GreenComp framework and presents an innovative Inclusive Pedagogical Model. The course is structured into flexible modules covering both theoretical foundations and practical strategies for a whole-school approach, as well as hands-on classroom activities.
The course is completely free of charge, and the platform is accessible to the entire educational community. It is available in nine languages, including Portuguese, English, Spanish, Greek, Finnish, among others, ensuring access for educational communities across Europe. In particular, there are three online modules grouped by language. The module that includes Portuguese can also be followed in Romanian and Spanish, in addition to English.
The self-paced format offers full flexibility to participants, allowing any education professional to learn at their own pace. Upon completion, participants receive a digital certificate.
The three course modules are hosted on the Técnico MOOC platform and include the same expert videos and interactive exercises designed to transform theory into practice.
Registration is now open, and interested participants can enroll free of charge at:
